Roger's Fleeting Dream was one of the first games I have built and developed in my first year of university for our "Digital Storytelling" Module. The game was developed with the Harlowe Game Engine that Twine supports, and it uses its Audio Functionality to add some sound effects and music as well.
The art and graphics was inspired by the "liminal spaces" genre, the photos through a watercolor filter to give it a specific art style that also stays close and reminiscent of the "liminal" feeling
This game and story is highly inspired by the game "The Stanley Parable". Where there is a situation where the narrator "leads the player", or you go against the said narrator to completely alter how you want the story to go, while they undergo the same ending. It is non-linear in a way that the payer gets to make choices.
I'm not going to spoil the whole game, I think it's better if you get to check it out and play it yourself :D
